We are excited to see you at D.I.C.E. Athens! Whether it’s your first time in Athens or you just need a quick refresher, here are some helpful tips to make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible:

Travel Documentation: If you're a US citizen and visiting Greece for 90 days or less, you do not need a visa. Find more details here. However, the European Union will require travel authorisation via the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) starting in the last quarter of 2026, which may coincide with D.I.C.E. Athens. The European Union will inform about the specific date for the start of ETIAS several months prior to its launch. For more information, click here.

Weather: September in Greece will still be relatively warm with not much rain, with average highs around 80°F (20°C) and lows around 60 (10-17°C). Find more information here.

Transportation: Athens offers convenient public transport options including buses, trolleys, railways, taxis, and Uber.
