Satoru Shibata

Shibata joined Nintendo upon graduating from Kansai University, Faculty of Law in 1985. Shibata worked for several years in the Sales Department, before moving to Nintendo’s overseas branches, where he continued to work for more than 20 years. After serving as President of Nintendo of Europe GmbH and Nintendo Australia Pty Limited., he was appointed as Executive Officer in 2016. With his experience in overseas marketing, he is now in charge of Nintendo sales, publisher & developer relations, marketing, and promotion. He was appointed as Managing Executive Officer in 2022.
