The State of Subscription Models

Subscription models offer incredible value to members as well as major revenue opportunities for publishers and developers, but the code hasn’t been cracked for games the way it has for music and television. In this roundtable, we’ll discuss the current state of game subscription models, including what’s working, what’s not, and how developers and publishers alike can benefit from the ‘all you can play’ model. While there are significant benefits, this roundtable will also discuss current challenges and learnings - like how subscription services are scaling and learning in real time to meet player expectations and where the model can be additive to existing revenue streams for your games.
