Bio:

Shuhei Yoshida, a 37-year Sony veteran and renowned software developer, has been with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) since its inception more than 30 years ago. Beginning in November 2019, Yoshida became Head of the Global PlayStation Indies initiative.

In the early years of SIE, then called Sony Computer Entertainment, Yoshida held several high-profile positions in product development and third-party relations for the company. Yoshida was among those responsible for the creation of SIE's internal product development team. In the studio, Yoshida was executive producer for Gran Turismo and produced ICO, Ape Escape and The Legend of Dragoon among other popular titles. In 2008, Yoshida was appointed President of SIE's Worldwide Studios. Under his management, SIE's Worldwide Studios produced several wildly popular franchises such as Uncharted, God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, MLB: The Show, Journey, Bloodborne, Marvel's Spider-Man, and six titles in the Ratchet & Clank franchise.
